You must be a morning person? Wish I was, seems like it would make things so much easier!

The data is clear on this one: standard time, aligns better with circadian rhythm, is more healthy. For those of us who have hard time waking up without light—let alone trying to get kids up and off to school—DST is pure hell. And thinking that we do it because capitalist business interests are put before human health issues and natural circadian rhythms is… so symbolic of our messed up priorities.

Plus slowing down and hibernating a little in the winter is also normal —I love turning on sparkly lights (hygge), maybe lighting candles (more hygge), then going to bed earlier when it’s cold and dark.
